Vehicle Manufacture
Max Hyde Motors is a very unique company that specialises in the design and construction of exotic sports cars. The company was first established in 1998 with the production of the MKI three-wheeled sports car, and has since gone on to produce the MKII, one of the most distinctive cars on the road, and is currently constructing its most radical concept yet, the MKIII. All of our cars are built from scratch, each one being manufactured to the highest possible standards from the best materials available, making them some of the most unique vehicles in the world. Using our expertise in mechanical engineering we are able to design and build almost any vehicle, with any engine configuration, body style or wheelplan, and our knowledge of custom built vehicles has been involved in a number of other projects, providing assistance with their design and manufacture.

Parts Manufacture
As well as building complete 'turn key' vehicles we also specialise in the manufacture of component parts for other specialist vehicles and kit cars, spanning a wide range of materials and construction techniques. You can see here a few of the parts we have made, from complete chassis to individual parts such as mudguards and dashboards, all custom made to very high standards.

SVA
We have gained over the past few years an in-depth knowledge of the rules and regulations involved when building a vehicle for road use, and in particular Single Vehicle Approval, or SVA. This is often seen as the biggest obstacle when building a car, but we are able to design, build and modify vehicles and parts to comply with these strict regulations. You can see here some of the parts we built to ensure our last car the MKII, passed its SVA test with ease.

Workshop
Our workshop, situated in Winchester in the south of England, is a constant hive of activity where many projects can be underway at the same time, from larger engineering work such as chassis and body manufacture, to very small precision items.
